Afrika-safari.dk
Purchase
Afrika-safari.dk was established in 2006 by Henrik Sevelsted and Paul Christen Bredahl. During the first year, 70 people were sent off on the excursion of their dreams. By 2012, the number of guests was now more than 3,000, with destinations in several African countries. At that point, the owners chose to sell 70% of their shares, whereupon Dansk Generationsskifte acquired the majority shareholding together with a number of private investors.
Development and exit
In May 2014, Capidea acquired the company, together with businessman Kurt Kvorning. During the period 2012–2014, the company had doubled its turnover and had become established in new markets and with new brands including Asiatours.dk and Lamatours.dk.
